African Spa - African Rituals
The African Rituals are the Ngoma African Drumming, Man Ghanaian Ritual,
Isifutho our pedi Sauna, Buhlebenvelo Body Wrap and the Xandla Ritual.

Ngoma African Drumming: In Africa we drum when babies are born, at weddings
and at initiation ceremonies. This is a great way to start an African
Day of rejuvenation.
Ashanti Ritual : An ancient foot ritual begins with a slow,
gentle rhythmic exfoliation massage, removing all dead skin cells as well
as all evidence of the path already travelled. This is wonderful for improving
the circulation to your feet. After this, the feet are caressed with body butter, the ultimate in decadent relaxation.

Isifutho our pedi Sauna: Isifutho means covering of the whole body with
steam and is an important part of African healing ritual, the scent of aromatic oils and the use of healing motion lights leaves you feeling revitalized.
Buhlebenvelo Body Wrap: It's an age old tradition amongst the elders to cover their bodies in mud and once it was dry they would jump into the river to wash it off. Indulge in a muti mud, chocolate or grape wrap.

Xandla Ritual: A traditional Pigmy hand ritual. Our hands are our gifts
to receive and give to others. This ritual is to bless the hands for all
that they have received and given in life. We use techniques that include
exfoliation and massage with Pigmy body butter. This ritual improves your
sense of touch and circulation and will leave you feeling totally relaxed.
Ukuhlamba: Full Body Exfoliation. It is a time honoured African Ritual to cleanse the skin of all impurities, let us rejuvenate your skin with a blend of African potato and aroma therapeutic oils.
